Frappe col. 91; 8(8, 10, 10, 12) 50 gr skeins
Waikiki col.2855; 1 50 gr ball
Deco Ribbon col. 310; 1 50 gr ball
Fizz col. 7120 and 1 50 gr ball
Glam col.1997.
Crystal Palace Bamboo needles Size 10-3/4 (7mm),
size J crochet hook, 3 buttons
Gauge: 14 sts and 17 row = 4” with Deco-Ribbon and Waikiki held tog. in St st.
Stripe pattern: Merino Frappe and Waikiki held together (=A)
knit 21 rows St.st.
Deco Ribbon (=B) knit 2 rows
Glam (=C) Cross Over Pattern
With two strands Fizz and 1 strand Waikiki held together (=D) knit 2 rows
(=A) St.st. 8 rows
(=D) knit 2 rows
(=B) 6 st. cross
(=C) knit 2 rows in Cross Over Pattern
(=A) St.st. 6 rows
(=C) knit 2 rows in Cross Over Pattern
(=D) knit 2 rows
(=B) knit 2 rows
(=A) St.st. the rest of the jacket
Cross Over Pattern:
Row 1: Knit 1 * knit 1 yo* end knit 1
Row 2: purl 1, slip the next 6 stitch onto the right hand needle dropping the
yarn overs as you go. Slip sts. 3, 2, & 1 over sts. 4, 5, & 6 back onto the left
hand needle then put sts. 4, 5, & 6 onto the left hand needle & purl these Sts.
repeat this cross over pattern across row ending with purl 1.
Jacket Pattern:
Back: With (A) cast on 68(74, 80, 86, 92) sts and follow stripe
pattern as written until piece is 21” long
Arm hole shaping: Bind off 3(4, 5, 6, 8) stitches each side once.
Dec 1 st. ea. side every right side row 2(3, 3, 4, 4) times, continue until arm
opening is 8(8.5, 9, 9, 9.5) inches.
Shape Neck: work across 18(19, 20, 20, 21)) sts, join second ball of yarn
and bind off 22(22, 22, 24, 24) sts. Work across row.
Work 1 row then decrease 1 st. at each neck edge once. Work 1 row then bind off
rem. sts.
Front Half: Cast on 38(44, 44, 50, 50) sts. and work as for back until
arm hole shaping . Shape arm as for back and at the same time begin neck
shaping. Dec 1 st. at neck edge every other row until 17(18, 19, 19, 20) sts
remain and front is same length as back.
Make second front half reversing shaping.
Sleeves: cast on 34(34, 42, 42, 42) sts. with (A) and work 7 rows,
increase 1 sts. each side and then continue to increase 1 st each side ever 6th
row until there are 62(62, 66, 66, 68) sts. Work 11 rows in (A) instead of 21
then follow the Stripe Pattern as written.
When sleeve is 18” shape cap.
Bind off 3(3, 5, 5, 6) sts. ea. side once, dec 1 st. ea. side every other row
2(2, 3, 3, 3,) times then bind off 10 sts. every row 5 times.
Finishing: sew pieces together then with (A) and J crochet hook work 1
row single crochet and 1 row reverse single crochet around fronts and neck. Sew
on buttons make button loops and attach.
