Gauge: 11 sts/20 rows = 4 inches in pattern stitch
Be sure to make a gauge swatch, block and measure on flat surface. This
stitch pattern will elongate when worn and pattern has been written to
accommodate this.

length. Note: The openness of pattern stitch pattern and the
crochet trim, adds approximately 1” to the finished length.

Mark center of sleeve cap.
Finishing: Damp Block pieces, pin out, let dry completely. With Right Sides tog, seam across 9 (10) (11) (12) (13) (14) sts for each
shoulder, leave remaining stitches for collar. Close any gaps that may occur at
bottom of armholes (between Bind off stitches) by weaving in yarn
tail. Sew sleeve seams and set into armholes, matching marker at center of
sleeve cap to shoulder seam. Work in Ends.
Outside Edge Trim: Using crochet hook, begin at right lower edge, below underarm (where seam would be if it was not worked in one piece). Join yarn with slip stitch;
take care to keep crochet edge flat as you work. Rnd 1: Single crochet (sc) to
front edge, 2 sc in the corner, sc to top of neck edge, 2 sc in corner of
collar, sc around neck to next neck corner, 2 sc in corner, sc to left lower
edge, 2 sc in corner, sc to beginning of rnd. Join with slip stitch in
beginning slip stitch, chain 1 and rep Rnd 1, 2 more times. Fasten off and work
in end.
Sleeve Hem trim: Using crochet hook, join yarn with slip stitch at bottom edge of sleeve at seam. Work 3 rounds of sc.
Collar and Button Loop: Fold collar (see photo) and tack down on wrong side. Mark button placement at
base of collar fold back. Sew on button. Crochet button loop long enough to go
around button, place opposite of button. Anchor on WS.
