PARTY Scarf knit lengthwiseEasy to Knit
Materials:
2-50 gr. balls of PARTY nylon ribbon yarn
1 ball each: #409 (spring picnic) & #203 (celery green)
Size 11 circular CPY Bamboo Needles or 14" CPY DAISY needles
The scarf is knit in garter st (all rows knit) lengthwise.If fringe is desired: (as shown in photo) holding 2 colors tog, wind 16 times around the longer dimension of a VHS tape box. Cut through one end to make 16 pieces of each color.
To knit the scarf: (garter st = knit all rows)
Cast on 110 sts with #203 celery green
Knit 5 rows.
Tie on color #409 spring picnic and K 6 rows
Knit 6 rows #203
Knit 6 rows #409
Knit 5 rows #203
Bind off LOOSELY (to avoid bowing of edge of scarf)Using a crochet hook or your fingers, knot on 8 pairs of fringe yarns on each end of scarf as shown in bottom photo.
