Gauge: 20 sts/4 inches across pattern sts, gauge is not important.
Size: approx. 7" wide x 62" long.
Instructions
Cast on 34 sts and K 2 rows St st (K1 row, P1 row)

The chart is 34 sts wide. The pattern repeat is 12 rows on RS. Cont to knit the 12 row repeat alternating with Purl rows over and over until you are almost out of yarn and end with two rows of St st, bind off loosely. Block to show off the stitch pattern.

scarf.
All rows shown on this chart are Right Side Rows - You will insert a Purl
row in between each of these rows (they are not shown on this chart)
