Knit with our self-striping yarn, Merino Stripes is a very soft brushed yarn, 90% merino wool in 14 different self-striping combinations of 3 colors each. See the color card here and photos of a bag of balls of yarn here.

Finished Scarf is approx. 66 inches long x 9 inches wide.
The pattern is a slightly random vertical brick pattern

CPY Bamboo Needles or DAISY Needles Size 11

Stitch Used:
Stockinette and Rev. Stockinette to form vertical bricks

To knit scarf:
Cast on 30 sts
Knit 4 rows of garter st (knit all rows)
Row 1- K3 border, K8, P8, K8, K3 border
Row 2- K3 border, P8, K8, P8, K3 border
(repeat rows 1 & 2 eight or ten times)

Reverse the St st in the next 12 or 14 rows:
Row A- K3 border, P8, K8, P8, K3 border
Row B- K3 border, K8, P8, K8, K3 border

Cont. alternating St st and Rev St st vertical bricks every 10, 12 or 14 rows.
