Scarf is approx. 4 inches wide and 8 ft long.
Note: This scarf would also look very good using Deco-Ribbon in place of Party.
Bias Knit Technique:
On every even row inc 1 st at the beginning of row (by knitting twice into the
first st) and dec 1 st at the end of the row (that is, knit last 2 sts
together). Place a marker on the side of the scarf where each even row begins to
help you remember to work this as the bias row.
Cast on 14 stitches with Party
Work all even rows in Bias Knit Technique as above throughout
the scarf.
K 3 rows
Next row change to Popcorn: Knit 4 rows
Next row change to Party: Knit 4 rows
Continue alternating 4 rows of Party and 4 rows of Popcorn.
Work until you are almost out of yarn.
Knit the last 3 rows in Party and cast off.
TIP on Knitting with Popcorn: Popcorn can tangle easily due to the little-balls-on-a-string structure. If you keep the Popcorn ball on the chair near you, on a table or in a container by itself (don't let it roll around on the floor or unroll in a basket with other yarns) and pull off just a yard or so at a time as you knit, you will not have tangle problems. Another suggestion is to put the ball in a small zip lock baggie and allow it to feed out of the baggie.
