Summer Net + LightPipe Scarf
This airy, decorative scarf has an unusual look
due to the combination of yarns. Soft feel.
Finished Scarf is approx. 60 inches long x 6 inches wide.
Materials:
2-50 gr. ball of Summer
Net (here color 3169,
strawberry)
1 -50 gr. ball of LightPipe (9015, circus)
CPY Bamboo Needles, Size 15 - 9" needlesThe entire scarf is knit
with both yarns held together.
[Note: LightPipe is slippery, when you make the skein into a
ball, if you use an umbrella swift, be sure that the shaft of the swift is
parallel to the floor, turn it slowly. If using a ball winder, wind it
slowly.]

Single and Double Wrap St (also sometimes called simply YO stitch)

Rows 12-15: Knit
Repeat Rows 6 through 15, holding both yarns together, until you are
almost out of yarn. End with 5 Knit rows. Bind off loosely.
[Note about pattern rows 6-15: If you look
closely at the repeat rows in the photo you will see that they do not
match the pattern as written. This is because I knit while watching a
movie and my scarf knitting mode is not too be very careful about how many
rows of garter st are between the wrap rows - feel free to be casual or
exact with this yourself, too. - Susan]
