Description: This squishy-soft
baby blanket is ideal to cover up your wee one
in a stroller or car seat.
It stretches nicely to wrap around and tuck in. Or knit it larger to use as a
throw.
Level: Easy
Size:
Stroller Blankie: ~28" wide x 26" high, unstretched
Throw: ~40" wide by 50" high, unstretched
Pattern is written for stroller blanket with throw instructions
in parentheses.
Materials:
*Pattern is worked back and forth in rows. Circular needle is used to accommodate width of blanket.
Gauge: 4 sts and 5 rows = 1" over Mistake Rib, unstretched
Abbreviations: BO- bind off; CO- cast on; k- knit; p- purl; rep- repeat; st(s)- stitches
Mistake Rib:
Rows 1-12: *K2, p2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k2, p1.
INSTRUCTIONS
CO 111 (159) sts. Work Mistake Rib, alternating stripes of 12 rows
each, until piece measures ~26 (50)" high.
[You should have 11 (21)
stripes total.]
BO in rib. Weave in ends. Block to measurements.
