Bunny Hop Camisole
MATERIALS:
Crystal Palace Bunny Hop
color #9800 'painted iris'
5 (6,7) 50-gr balls.
Crystal Palace Bamboo or
CPY DAISY Needles
sizes 6 and 8
Crystal Palace Bamboo
Size G crochet hook
GAUGE: 20 sts = 4" (10 cm) in Stockinette st on larger needles. Make sure your sweater will be the right size by checking gauge before beginning.
SIZES:
Small, (Medium, Large).
Finished Measurements: 36 (39, 42)."
PATTERNS USED:
1. Twisted Cable Pattern 1:17 sts.
R1: p4, k9, p4.
R2, 4, 6, 8: p the p sts & k the k sts.
R3: p4, slip 3 sts on cable needle, hold in front, k3, k3 from cable holder, k3, p4.
R5: p4, k9, p4.
R7: p4, k3, slip 3 sts onto cable needle & hold in back, k3, k3 from cable needle, p4.
2. Eyelet Center Pattern 2: 12 sts.
R1: k2 tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, k5, sl1, k1, psso.
R2, 4, 6, 8,10,12: p
R3: k2 tog, k1, yo, k3, yo, k4, sl 1, k1, psso.
R5: k2 tog, yo, k5,yo, k3, sl 1, k1, psso.
R7: k2 tog, k5, yo, k1, yo, k2, sl1, k1, psso.
R9: k2 tog, k4, yo, k3, yo, k1, sl1, k1, psso.
R11: k2 tog, k3, yo, k5, yo, sl1, k1 psso
3. Edging Pattern 3, Picot st (crochet):
* work 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches then chain 3, slip stitch in 3rd chain from hook to form picot *. Repeat between *.
FRONT:
With smaller needles cast on 90(98,106) sts. Work in k1, p1 rib for 2.5" Change to larger needles and p, inc 10 sts across row. Next row, k across 27 (31, 35) sts, place a marker, then work 17 sts pattern 1, 12 sts pattern 2, 17 sts pattern 1, place a marker, k the remaining sts. Working in pattern between the markers and St st on the sides work even until piece measures 10-1/2 (11,11-1/2)".
SHAPING ARMHOLES: At the beg of the next 2 rows bind off 5 (6,7) sts, then dec 1 st each side every other row 4 (5,6) times. Cont until piece measures 14 (14-1/2, 15)".
TO SHAPE NECK: work across 33 (34, 35) sts, join 2nd ball of yarn, Bind off 16 (18, 20) sts. Work across row. Working each side sep but at the same time, bind off 5 sts, 3 times then 2 sts once. Work even until piece measures 19 (20,21)."
Bind off.
BACK:
With smaller needles cast on 90 (98, 106) sts. Work in k1, p1 rib for 2.5" Change to larger needles and St st. Work even until piece measures 13-1/2 (14, 14-1/2)".
SHAPING ARMHOLES: as for front at 10-1/2 (11, 11-1/2)".
TO SHAPE NECK: work across 31 (32, 33) sts, join 2nd ball of yarn, bind off 10 (12, 14) sts, work across row. Working each side sep, but at same time, bind off 5 sts 3 times. Work even
until piece measures 19 (20,21)." Bind off.
FINISHING: Sew shoulder and side seams. Work one row single crochet around neck and armholes, then work a row of picot st around neck and armholes.
